GRRR....

Dear Internets,

Is it wrong to feel INCREDIBLY STABBY because people decided to add their son's girlfriend when they sent their RSVP?

If I couldn't invite my cousins or friends from college to my wedding, I don't want your teenage son's stupid girlfriend there!

At least you understand me, Internets.

Love,
Jane

Nope, not wrong at all.
My cousin added her three kids to her RSVP even though the invitation was clearly addressed to just her and her husband ... and our wedding was held in a bar (and her kids were all minors.)

I don't get why ignorant people do this. I didn't experience this, but many friends have. I just can't fathom having that much gall. I love the phrase "stabby" by the way-so fitting for such a rude and idiotic situation.

I'm so worried about people bringing extras, especially extra kids. Don't want them there! I swear I'm gonna have a bouncer checking names at the door.

Extra people who DID NOT RSVP at all come. That's always fun.

oh man not wrong at all to feel stabby. i am dreading that happening when i send out invites. luckily i've already forewarned a couple people that i won't be able to include their significant others since i'm so limited on space.

Boo - that sucks! After all the dilemmas with my brother's wedding, I know exactly what you're going through.

Not wrong at all. In fact I think it's damn rude!

Holy jeez. I mean, there's a REASON only certain people get wedding invitations. And also a reason why others DON'T.
